Developers of Android apps need to explicitly make their apps available to move to the SD card using theandroid:installLocation” attribute in the <manifest> element of their app. If they don't, the option to “Move to SD cardis grayed out.
Take a picture with your camera, then go to the Gallery to view your picture albums. If the photo was saved to the internal memory, you will see a camera icon on the thumbnail of that gallery. If it was saved to your SDcard, you will see a camera icon, as well as a SDcard icon.
