Who would win Iron Man or War Machine?

"War Machine is definetly a better fighter, but Tony's armor is far more superior. Iron Man wins this one."

Similarly, you may ask, who is stronger Iron Man or Captain America?

As strong as Captain America is, Iron Man is stronger. Cap's just flesh and bone. As brave as he is, bravery won't save him from a laser blast. Yes, Cap does wear protective gear, but it's not head-to-toe protection like the Iron Man armor.

Does war machine become Iron Man?

Rhodey is Tony Stark's best friend, as well as the Lieutenant Colonel of the U.S. Air Force, and became known as the War Machine later, after he stole the Mark II from Tony from his Hall of Armors, in the movie Iron Man 2. In Iron Man 3, his suit is repainted and he is rebranded as Iron Patriot.

Who is stronger Black Panther or Iron Man?

Iron Man has NEVER DEFEATED Black Panther in the Comics, BUT Black Panther HAS DEFEATED IRON MAN in the Comics. Tony maybe smarter by a very small amount. But there's NO better Tactician in Marvel than The Black Panther. Simply put, T'Challa doesn't need anything more than his classic vibranium suit.

Who is the most powerful Avenger?

Hulk has traditionally been seen as the strongest Avenger physically — and for good reason, though he's been subdued by both Iron Man and Thor.
War Machine is a superhero in the Marvel Universe, and an ally of Iron Man. There was also a villain who took on the identity of War Machine for a brief period.
James “Rhodey” Rhodes / War Machine
Supposedly, Howard was highest paid actor on Iron Man, and for reasons unknown, Marvel didn't want to give him a pay bump for Iron Man 2, so he was replaced with Don Cheadle, who has played him in every MCU film since.
In the film's final act, after Thanos destroys the Avengers compound, Rhodey must abandon his main suit in order to escape the crushing debris collapsing on top of him. He's later rescued by Ant-Man, though he appears in a brand new Iron Patriot armor. However, the film doesn't show how he got it.
Yes, indeed he did, though his armour in Endgame was heavily upgraded from the one we saw in Infinity War. As you can see, the armour has been ameliorated, from the esthetics to the weaponry. War Machine (James Rhodes) was first introduced in Iron Man 2.
Tony Stark shut down weapons manufacturing because he believed his company could do better than blowing stuff up. He is literally saying that making weapons is bad and that he needs to do something else. At no point during the rest of this movie is it ever implied he is going to change his mind.

In the comics, the Iron Patriot armor is used by Norman Osborn, but Osborn is part of the Spider-Man franchise, the rights of the characters are owned by Sony. The Iron Patriot armor is instead an upgraded version of the War Machine armor with an American flag motif to resemble Captain America.
Tony always looks like he could hardly get anything done without the help of Jarvis or Friday. As for the weapons, while War Machine features the more obvious weapons like the shoulder gun, Iron Man actually has the more advanced arsenal, including his powerful laser and several guided weapons systems.
War Machine has stated and shown to be strong enough to lift a tank which averages around 60 tons more or less.
The War Machine Armor: Mark I (also known as the JRXL-1000 Variable Threat Response Battle Suit) is the heavily weaponized armor used by James Rhodes, who became known as the War Machine.
Everything that I've found suggests that no, War Machine (any of the suits) do not have an independent AI system. The closest that you get are expert systems which interpret Rhodes' thoughts for control over the armor.
War Machine Armors. personally created by Tony Stark and used by James Rhodes.
Iron Man 3 Prelude
When Rhodes pointed this out to Stark, Stark revealed that he had designed a suit specifically for Rhodes, the War Machine 2.0. The prototype was added to Stark's Hall of Armor because he couldn't simply scrap one of his creations.
Repulsors: War Machine is equipped with more powerful versions of the repulsors. One blast can destroy a helicopter. Force Field: The armor can project a force field around itself to defend against attacks.
Apex Furry of Teh Vesti jungle. In most of the Marvel comics, he has an ammo drum built into the back, and the forearms. However, comic logic takes place and you can fit way more bullets into a space.
War Machine's Powers and Abilities: Wears modular War Machine armor, granting superhuman strength & durability, the ability to fly, & project energy blasts. Armor is outfitted with additional heavy armaments, including a shoulder-mounted Gatling cannon. Experienced soldier, military pilot & hand-to-hand combatant.
In the comics, Friday was an A.I. created by Tony Stark to work as his secretary, her name originating from the term "man/girl Friday", meaning go-to person.
A Walking Weapon
While Rhodes doesn't have super human powers, the War Machine armor designed for him by Tony Stark gives him unprecedented strength and a massive arsenal of weapons. War Machine can fly at Mach 2 and is equipped with a variety of projectile weapons such as repulsor rays, bombs, guns, and missiles.
Tony is the only human ( without any natural power ), who is able to bleed Thanos. Thor stabbed whole stormbreaker into the chest of Thanos, But he has lods of natural power. So, Technically And theoretically, Tony is at Top of every field. That's why, He earn the Respect of Thanos.
I think that when Ant Man got Hulk and Rocket free, Rhodes went to the Hall of Armors to get a new suit. It would have been easy to find as they fell all the way into the substructure of the building, possibly into the garage itself. He suited up, grabbed Rocket and Scott brought them all to the surface.
He can survive much longer falls than an average person, endure much more grievous wounds, and so forth, but he can be felled by a simple bullet. Captain America usually relies on his speed and shield to deflect bullets, since they pose a genuine threat to him.
So clearly, he's no friend of Hydra. However, when the Winter Soldier was sent on the mission where he ended up killing the Starks, it wasn't supposed to be an assassination. So really, the reason why Bucky killed Tony Stark's parents is because Hydra wanted to recreate Captain America on a large scale.
Captain America may well be one of the greatest fighters in the Marvel Universe, but even years of combat experience and an unbreakable shield can't match Thor when it comes to sheer power. Assuming the reason for their battle is Thor because is possessed or tricked, Cap would be able to use Mjolnir against him.
It was able to take an attack from captain marvel and survive it. Iron man's strongest armor ever created which could easily defeat Thor with no problem. Hence, iron man would win easily against Thor!!!
Iron Man has an ability to analyze everything about his fight against Superman, so that, theoretically, he can do it. But, actually, of course, in real time and life, Superman will beat him in one millisecond. Stark is brilliant, and has the resources to get his hands on kryptonite, but Superman is no slouch either.
Because if both men were simply in street clothes, it's not even a contest, Bruce Wayne would beat Tony Stark pretty fast. He couldn't do much to harm Iron Man, either, since the armor is nearly indestructible.
Captain America was NOT the first Avenger. He didn't join in until the 4th Avenger comic. He was frozen in ice and the Avengers saved him and recruited him. The original Avengers are: Iron Man, Ant-Man, Wasp, Thor, and Hulk.
Isn't he immortal? Captain America isn't immortal. Presumably, he does age normally, despite the Super Soldier serum, which keeps him in peak physical condition.
Yes Hulk is weak, but his story has always been one of strength and violence. Endgame gave him and Bruce Banner peace, something unique that they never had. Imagine a violent spirit possessing your body, and you turn green when angry. Imagine having the spirit of a warrior but being confined to a nerd's body.
In the comic books, Steve Rogers is murdered at the event of the Civil War storyline, leading to Bucky Barnes becoming the next Captain America. In the MCU Rogers survives Civil War, eventually passing the mantle of Captain America to Sam Wilson in Avengers: Endgame.
So with all of that, we know that Captain America is no pushover. He'll be able to give Iron Man a fight, but ultimately, Iron Man will win.
TL;DR: Iron Man doesn't really stand a chance. He might be able to get away because of the Hulkbuster's flight abilities. But he can't defeat Thanos in it. The gauntlet made of Uru metal was badly damaged after Thanos performed the snap.
Hercules
Hercules is considered the physically strongest character in the whole marvel universe. Literally the strongest, even over characters such as Thor, Hulk, and the Destroyer.
