Why are some Ikea products not available for delivery?

Drivers are not allowed to enter delivery locations. Like many other companies, IKEA is experiencing shipping delays because of the coronavirus crisis, so be patient, as delivery times are running longer than usual.

So, why is everything out of stock at IKEA?

A: We strive to maintain availability of all items listed in our catalog. However, due to the success of a particular item or supply delays, it is possible that an item can be temporarily out of stock. IKEA products are manufactured all over the world and there are many circumstances that can, at times, impact supply.

We keep a schedule. Depending on the store, the As-Is section might only be restocked once or twice a week. Once you know that day, you might score the best items if you can make it in when the newest items were added.

It turns out that shipping prices are based on flat rates geared to be more cost effective for customers who purchase in bulk. "In markets further from our store locations, we offer flat delivery rates that are higher then those in store markets; this is due to the cost to make these delivers.

Go to the returns or customer service desk in the IKEA store. They usually have bins filled with common parts. They're free. If you have a need for an uncommon part, then they have a number you can call or a website you can visit.
